That all changes later this year, when Center Stage San Diego! takes voice and joins the millions of new-media Americans Time magazine saw fit to honor as 2006's Persons of the Year. It's a little late to bask in any glory; instead, we'll offer up a half-hour podcast commencing every Thursday at 7:30 p.m. (PDT). The topic is San Diego theater and its place in the human story, as hosted by San Diego CityBeat theater editor Martin Jones Westlin. San Diego jazz vocalist and musical performance veteran Tokeli joins Marty in some comprehensive, compelling looks at local work on and behind the stage.
